Open-air freedom, customization options, and strong capability help continue the long-time popularity of the 2025 Jeep Wrangler. Its versatile features make it a great choice for adventures on and off the road, combining modern technology with the iconic WWII-era looks and capabilities, and four different powertrain options let you personalize its performance.

Introducing the 2025 Jeep Wrangler: An Off-Road Legend
New Features
The Wrangler enters 2025 with minimal changes, but power windows and locks are now standard on all models. The latest lineup was initially intended to only offer a manual transmission with the base V6 models, but the decision was reversed, so drivers can still opt for automatic shifting. A new olive green exterior paint color, named ’41, adds the option to make your Wrangler look even closer to the original WWII Jeep.
Powertrain Options
The base 3.6-liter V6 engine produces 285 horsepower and pairs with standard part-time four-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission, which can be swapped for an eight-speed automatic. A 270-hp 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder is also available, while the 4xe plug-in hybrid powertrain offers 375 horsepower and electrified fuel efficiency. The 6.4-liter V8 is exclusively available on the Rubicon 392 Final Edition, which comes standard with the automatic transmission and full-time all-wheel drive.
Convertible Roof
One of the biggest reasons drivers choose the Wrangler is the versatility of the convertible roof. A manual soft-top is standard for opening your cabin to the elements, but power and hardtop options are available. For the most immersive outdoor experience, you can even remove the doors before embarking on your next off-road adventure.
Off-Road Capability
In addition to standard all-wheel drive, the 2025 Wrangler stays true to its off-road spirit with features like a leading link front suspension, a trailing arm rear suspension, and electro-hydraulic power assisted steering activation. Excellent ground clearance and underbody skid plates let you easily drive over obstacles on the trail, while the high air intake, moisture-resistant body openings, and sealed electrical connections enable water fording through puddles, streams, and creeks up to 34 inches deep.
Steel front bumpers are available to help withstand rugged excursions, and can be equipped with a winch that supports up to 8,000 pounds in case you come across other drivers stuck on the trail. For the ultimate off-roading experience, the Rubicon comes with 33-inch all-terrain tires and front and rear electronic locking differentials to maximize traction control.
The 2025 Wrangler offers endless options to get the most out of every adventure. When you’re ready to take it for a test drive, stop by Bolton Chrysler Dodge Jeep (KS) in Council Grove, KS, and we’ll help you customize the model of your choice with all the features you need to make it yours.
