Introducing the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona EV: Electrifying Performance
Charger Daytona EV Basics
The 2025 Charger Daytona EV is offered in two trim levels: the R/T and Scat Pack. The coupe design that debuted in 2024 is joined by a four-door sedan, so you can enjoy all the incredible performance of the Charger with some daily practicality. Both models offer incredible power, range, charging time, and a retro-themed interior with all the technology fixings you’d expect to find in a modern electric vehicle.
Ferocious Power
Both 2025 Charger Daytona EV models use a 400-volt architecture featuring an integrated charge module and twin electric motors for the front and rear to provide standard all-wheel drive, powered by a high-voltage 100.5-kWh battery that can sustain over 500 kW of power to the motors for a full quarter mile. The base Daytona R/T coupe generates up to 456 horsepower, and the Daytona Scat Pack makes 695 hp.
With the Optional Direct Connection Stage power upgrade kits, you’ll get a 15-second power boost that increases the horsepower by 40 hp in the R/T and 80 in the Scat Pack, for maximum outputs of 496 and 670 hp, respectively.
Range and Charging
The Charger Daytona EV is estimated to provide a 317-mile range for the Daytona R/T coupe and 260 miles for the Daytona Scat Pack coupe. Both feature a peak charge rate of 183 kW, 11 kW of on-board charging, and can be recharged from 20 to 80 percent in under 30 minutes with Level 3 DC CCS fast charging. Level 2 charging units are optional, allowing you to charge overnight and start your day with a full battery.
Adjustable Regenerative Braking
Regenerative braking recoups energy to help charge the battery as you drive, and can be conveniently adjusted to three different levels using the paddle shifters. The levels range between 0.1g industry average, 0.2g for increased strength and stopping power, and 0.3g for abrupt stopping power and maximum strength.
Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust
If you love the commanding roar of the supercharged V8 engine, you’ll be equally pleased with the 2025 Charger Daytona EV. The patent-pending Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust uses two passive radiators to amp up the sound as speed increases to mimic the satisfying rumble of its predecessors.
